My thoughts on VA's as of late.
I thought I'd open up about this because my feelings towards this was an influence on my decision to stop working on TNR Season 2. Before going further I'd like to make it clear that ANYONE who's ever auditioned for my projects or landed roles on said projects...you guys are amazing & your voice work was spectacular. This has nothing to do with you but more with me ^_^
Ever since Season 2 of TEC launched those auditions, I was eager to try out this new method knowing full well I couldn't fill every role on this show hence why auditions became open. It was my first time doing that & it felt REALLY good. I felt like I wanted to do it again...so I did with TNR's first season...but it fell through. TEC required VA's going forward since the series has A LOT of characters (that's a hint to be on the lookout for future roles in later seasons..hint hint
) but TNR was a much more self-contained series where I could do everything myself. Playing the waiting game for lines, editing alongside my own & the stress of making sure the lines were just right while re-recording my own lead to a combo of displeasure with TNR's 2nd Season going forward. That's the real reason my recordings fell through. I thought I'd be honest with you guys.
So to anyone who has a role for TNR Season 2, I've decided to go solo on this endeavor. IT'S NOT BECAUSE YOU GUYS SUCKED! In fact, you guys rocked your lines but I've grown uninterested in VA's for my projects (with the exception for TEC.) Apologies for this but working with lines on this particular project has thrown me off. To anyone with a role in TNR Season 2, I shall compensate you guys with a collab of your choice down the road...I don't care what it is.
Many apologies for this long-ass message. This has been on my mind for the last 4 days xD. Don't worry about me though...I'm actually in a good mood...just had to get this off my mind & keep it real with you guys
